ABOUT - THIUK

The Hope Initiative UK (THIUK) is a registered charity which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals and families in need, including those experiencing ill health or affected by domestic abuse.
Our projects provide information and practical support, raise awareness, and signpost individuals to specialist support organisations.

After 11 years of service Domestic Violence UK changed its organisational structure to become a registered Charity – The Hope Initiative UK CIO.

THIUK provides essential support services to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals and families who are in need, have experienced ill health or been affected by domestic abuse.

Janette Manrara is one of the professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing and is also a lead dancer in the hit show, Burn The Floor. She began performing in musical theater at age 12 and started her formal dance training at 19, studying ballroom, ballet, pointe, jazz and hip-hop.

Ayo Sonoiki currently works as a Business Systems Analyst in London. She is a mother of two she has a keen interest in encouraging people to achieve their full potential. She created ‘Thinking Aloud With Ayo’(TAWA) in 2009 which focuses on on people who are making a difference to their immediate environment and even beyond..
